The good sorts from Cultural Heritage Services and Starry Nights are putting on a series of free outdoor movie screenings. They're setting up the big screen at both Bankfoot House and the Landsborough Museum, so you can pick your favourite heritage spot for a night of flicks under the stars.

Now, about your seating arrangements: forget struggling for the best spot, just bring your own. Whether it's that trusty camp chair, a bean bag you've practically merged with, or just a good old blanket for sprawling out, there's plenty of room for everyone to get comfy. And yes, there will be free popcorn. You heard that right. Just a heads up though, you will need to register your attendance beforehand, so don't just wander in expecting a spot. Oh, and if you're bringing along any youngsters under 12, make sure an adult is firmly attached to them. They tend to have very strong opinions on free popcorn.
