Join Sunshine Coast Libraries for a fun morning of koala-themed stories



Save the Koala Month is an annual worldwide event dedicated to raising awareness about Koalas and their habitat.

To celebrate this month, Sunshine Coast Libraries are partnering with Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens to do a ‘beary’ special Bushland Storytime in the gardens.
•Dress up, bring your toys and enjoy a story-filled morning at the Arts and Ecology Centre.
•The Bushland Storytime event is suitable for children aged under seven years.



•All children must be accompanied by a caregiver who is required to stay.
•The Bushland Storytime is a FREE event and even though registration is not required, an RSVP will assist organisers to estimate the Storytime attendance.



Date and times : Thursday 11th September, 9.30am to 10.30am

•Is my child old enough for the workshop?
Please read the activity description carefully for age appropriateness. Facilitators set these age brackets so that children get the most out of independently enjoying the workshop with their peers.
•Do I need to stay with my child or children in my care?
Yes. Caregivers must stay for the period of the workshop. Facilitators do not request or receive emergency contact or medical history information about the individual participants. The safety and wellbeing of your child or children in your care remain your responsibility throughout the activity.
•Do I need to book a ticket as the adult caregiver?
No. Please only select the number of tickets required for the child or children participating.
•What if my child is unwell or I need to cancel?
Please contact the organiser to let us know if your child is unwell or no longer able to attend. You can request a refund either via the Eventbrite platform or by email if we receive more than 24hrs notice. This also enables a space to be offered to families on the waiting list.
