Learn the art and joy of Eucalyptus illustration

Led by artist, Rhonda Stokoe, children and young people will get to explore the beauty of botany at the Holiday Program: Botanical Illustration workshops. Two intimate small group sessions will give participants the time to explore and enjoy discovering the details of plant identification through drawing and watercolour.

With a special focus on Eucalypts, one of Australia’s most iconic plant groups and of course, feed trees for koalas, young budding artists will learn how to observe and illustrate leaves, flowers and seed pods, using a variety of mediums. What is included:
•An introduction to Eucalypt identification
•Guided drawing and watercolour techniques using real plant specimens
•All materials provided - just bring your curiosity!

Session 1 : 5 to 9 years | 10.00am to 11.30am
