Make special school holiday memories with your family
Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled morning at the Honey Farm Road Environment Reserve, where children and adults alike can connect with nature, learn about local ecosystems and help to plant native species to support our environment.
The aim of Honey Farm Rd Environment Reserve Community Planting is to plant 1,000 native trees, shrubs and ground covers to support species like koalas, grey-headed flying fox and other local wildlife.

COMMUNITY PLANTING EVENT:
•FREE family-friendly event
•Planting Activity will be from 9.30am to 11.00am
•Information stalls
•Food: FREE sausage sizzle; a vegetarian option will be available
•Drink: Please bring your own reusable water bottle
•No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
WHAT IS PROVIDED -
•All tools, plants, gloves and guidance will be provided.

WHAT TO BRING AND KNOW :
•Please bring your own drinking water
•Wear enclosed shoes and sun-safe clothing
•Safety briefing/planting demo will be required before planting commences
•Please check in at the registration desk on arrival
ON-SITE PARKING
Please book one parking ticket per car for your family/group. This is listed below the entry tickets, when booking. If you do not select a transport option, your registration will be incomplete. Please select car pooling if another person has booked the car park for your family/group.

PLEASE NOTE :
There are two events on at the reserve on Saturday 4th October. This event registration is ONLY for the second event, which is the community planting at Honey Farm Road Environment Reserve, commencing at 9.30am.
Please arrive as close to 9.30am as possible to allow for the first event cars to exit.
Come along for a fun morning of planting at Honey Farm Road Environment Reserve and create special school holiday memories with your family. Please spread the word and be part of something meaningful.
This event is hosted in partnership with Currimundi Catchment Care Group.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS :
•Will there be a toilet?
Yes, we will have 1x accessible and 1x regular portable toilet onsite.
•What do I need to bring?
Please bring your own water and wear enclosed shoes and sun safe clothing. We recommend you not wear your best clothes as you/your children may get dirty. Bring your own reusable water bottle.
•What are you providing?
All tools, plants, gloves and guidance are provided for the planting activity. A FREE sausage sizzle (with vegetarian option), will be available.
•Is your event wheelchair friendly?
The planting is held in an open paddock with uneven ground. If you would like to attend, please email
