If your kid thinks rugby league is mostly mud, dramatic dives and very loud cheering, the clinics are a chance to test that theory. In the lead up to and on QLD Day, 6 June 2026, children aged 5 to 12 can try the basics of the game in a hands on, low pressure setting run by Queensland Rugby League.

Expect simple drills, a bit of running, some high fives and the occasional theatrical try rather than full on adult training. Sessions will be on the Sunshine Coast and at nearby venues within a reasonable drive, so bring sunscreen, sensible shoes and a healthy tolerance for sideline commentary.
