A day of walks, talks and native plant inspiration



Come along to the Arts and Ecology Centre at Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden for a family day of inspiration and hands-on learning to celebrate the beauty and benefits of native gardening at the FREE Plan and Plant your Native Garden event.



WHAT TO EXPECT:
Expert Talks - listen to native plant specialists and garden designers, who will share practical advice and creative ideas for planning your own native garden.
Guided Garden Walks - explore the Botanic Garden with knowledgeable guides and discover the plants that thrive in our region.
Plant Sales - absolutely love what you discovered on the walk? Take it home - plants showcased on the tour will be available for purchase.
Coffee, Tea and Snacks - refreshments will be available all day to keep you energised and inspired or pack a picnic and enjoy the spectacular garden surrounds.



Whether you’re a budding gardener new to the Sunshine Coast or a long-time local passionate about native plants, the Plan and Plant your Native Garden event is a fantastic opportunity to supercharge your spring gardening projects.

Please Note : Although tickets for the organised talks and walks are limited, please feel free to attend the event and experience the beautiful gardens and take the opportunity to buy some of the plants on offer.
