King Florestan and his somewhat scatterbrained Queen Scatty have finally got their princess, little Aurora, after years of waiting. They throw a big christening bash, but in classic royal blunder fashion, the king forgets to invite the grumpy fairy Carabosse. Cue the wicked spell that dooms the kid to a long nap.

The only fix is a dashing prince, a dose of true love, and apparently some unexpected wisdom from the village idiot. Because nothing says fairy tale like needing backup from the local numpty.
